Another quick updated here after our Wesleyan game over the
weekend. Unfortunately we didn’t do enough to win the game and Wesleyan
made us pay for our mistakes on a number of occasions. While we were
outplayed on Saturday, I still believe that we have the pieces to make some
noise in the NESCAC this year.
Some bright spots were first years Jake Madnick
facing off, 20 of 24 on the day and first year AJ Kucinski
continues to play well at x, going 2 and 2. Senior Jake
Schneider is filling a nice role for us this year as a senior in his first real
playing time and keeping defenses honest on the crease.
We obviously have some things to tighten up on defense after
surrendering 17 goals in a game and a number of those not really being earned
by Wesleyan. We also need to do a better job on offense of playing
together but we will get there.
Next up we have Plattsburgh coming to town tomorrow
afternoon at 3:30. They are off to a great start this year and will be a
formidable opponent, we will need to bounce back and be ready to go tomorrow!
