If some of you have butterflies in your stomach this week and can't
quite put your finger on why it's because we're just over a week away
from the start of practice!  We're handing out equipment on Monday
(bright and early), fitness test Tuesday, Valentine cakes go out on
Wednesday, and then our first practice of 2007 begins at 6AM Thursday
morning!

We decided to schedule 3 scrimmages this year with such an inexperienced
group. Our first one will take place on Saturday (2/17) down at Union
College against Union and Oneonta St. We'll then head down to
Queensbury, NY to scrimmage Skidmore on Friday, February 23rd.   Then
finally down to Keene State on Saturday, March 3rd to scrimmage
Merrimack and Keene St.  It's not the same as in years past against UVM
or Dartmouth as we weren't able to work things out with their schedules.
I think having numerous chances to compete against solid competition
will go a long way for our young guys.

With the start of the season approaching I'd like to have our final
roster of alumni mentors set so that we can get the program started up
as soon as possible.  Here's who I have confirmed so far, if you don't
see your name on the list and would like to be a part of the mentor
program please let me know!

Along those same lines we have a sophomore who's interested in talking
with someone about finance/investments in the Boston area.  He's looking
into possible internship opportunities for this summer or next.  If
